Had an amazing city break at a lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, they made us feel at home. Loved the delicious food, especially the breakfast, which was hearty and filling. The hotel is in an ideal location, right in the heart of the city and had free parking facilities. We also enjoyed the free upgrade of our room and the balcony that came with it.
The mattresses on the beds didn't quite match our comfort level, but it was subjective. , we felt the rooms could have been a bit more spacious.

A nice stay. The food was Michelin-worthy, with a good 5-course dinner. The owners, a former Olympic athlete and her husband, were kind and provided utmost comfort. City center location with free parking. Free room upgrade and dinner in the room. Nearby ski resorts and spa in Bad Gastein.
Not one thing.

We stayed at a family-friendly hotel in a charming Alpine town. We enjoyed the picturesque surroundings and had fast internet. Lovely hosts offered us excellent cuisine matched with local wines. Impressive spa zone and comfortable beds with adjustable firmness.
The check-in process was a bit disorganized.

the hotel is located in a prime spot, with easy access to the nearby waterfalls and ski resorts. We took advantage of the National park card and loved going on cable car rides to explore the breathtaking scenery. the half-board was fantastic and the 5-course dinner was beyond delicious. We also appreciated the free upgrade to a room with a balcony where we spent many hours enjoying drinks together.
That the beds were a little uncomfortable for us, but it didn't stop us from having a lovely time. We would have liked the bar area to be more inviting as we wanted to have some drinks, but it was left unattended and had a less welcoming atmosphere.
